It doesn't quite do what we need anymore
The organisation has changed, but the system has not kept up.
We help you make sense of complexity, deliver the right changes, and build the systems and capability to create lasting impact.
What we hear
These are the kinds of things we regularly hear from organisations when technology is no longer supporting the way they want to work.
The organisation has changed, but the system has not kept up.
Teams rely on spreadsheets, inboxes and manual steps to get things done.
Useful insight is hard to pull together quickly and confidently.
Support is not working as it should, and it is becoming harder to move things forward.
The technology is ageing, unsupported or no longer a sensible platform to build on.
Knowledge has walked out the door, with little documentation or clear ownership left behind.
None of this is unusual. If some of it sounds familiar, get in touch and we’ll help you work out where to start.

How we work
The point of the diagnosis is to understand what type of situation we are dealing with, because the type decides what will actually work. Our role is to find the route that fits, and stay close enough to adapt it as we learn.
Stage 1 of 3
Every situation is different. We use our methodology to understand what is really happening before deciding what to do next.
We look at the people, processes, technology, wider context and where the opportunity sits.
We bring the strands together to understand the drivers and what's getting in the way.
A clearer shared understanding of the situation, the key issues and a sensible direction for what to do next.
Stage 2 of 3
The diagnosis tells us what kind of situation we are dealing with. This stage is about working out the best way to improve it.
Long requirement lists can create false confidence. Needs change, priorities shift and some requirements prove impractical. We believe in getting hands-on early, using proof of concepts to test assumptions and align before too much time and money are spent.
Up-front requirements and the final solution drift apart.
Budgets are spent and teams tire before the right solution is clear.
Bring the organisation and partner together early. Prototype, test and align.
Stage 3 of 3
This stage takes what we've learnt and works out how to make it real and long lasting in your environment.
Projects provide the structure to deliver a defined piece of work. We build on that by creating a delivery system around it: the people, processes, technology, governance and ways of working needed to keep making progress after the project ends.
The aim is to leave organisations with something that can adapt, improve and continue delivering value over time, rather than treating go-live as the finish line.
A fixed end date closes the work, whether or not the value has landed.
Structure and support stay in place as priorities and needs shift.
Each improvement builds on the last instead of starting again.
Why us
Every organisation is different, so the way change is delivered needs to fit the real world, not just a textbook method. We do not come in with a fixed playbook or force a rigid methodology. Instead, we build a delivery system around the organisation, using the right amount of project management, structure and support to help change move in a way that works.
We create a delivery approach built around your organisation, using the right structure for your people, priorities and pace.
We use project management to create clarity, momentum and control, without getting lost in process for process' sake.
We connect board-level thinking with the day-to-day reality of delivery, helping ideas become real in practice.
We stay close to the work, adapting as things evolve and helping make sure recommendations lead to real outcomes.
Work with us
Whichever route fits, the methodology is the same, what changes is the shape of the commitment.
Fixed scope
Sometimes you know what needs to be done and just need the right people to help make it happen. We agree the work and the outcomes with you upfront, then get on with delivering it.
Best when you have a good idea of what needs to happen and want help getting it done.
Membership
Some of the best improvements come from having the time to understand what is really going on and work on it over time. Membership gives you that space, shaped around the level of support you want.
Best when you want an ongoing relationship to keep improving how technology works for your organisation.
Who we are
We bring together organisational change, delivery and technology, and stay involved long enough to see what actually works.

Co-Founder
Before moving into technology consultancy, Jonathan spent nine years working in the arts, heritage and charity sectors. That experience shapes how he approaches technology change today: starting with how an organisation actually works, rather than how a system says it should work.
He brings experience across project and programme delivery, CRM and technology change, requirements, suppliers and board-level strategy, with a particular strength in turning messy situations into practical ways forward. He focuses on understanding what is actually getting in the way, working through the detail with the people involved and finding solutions that will work in practice, not just on paper.

Co-Founder
Jason has spent 23 years working in and around technology, systems and organisational change. He combines deep experience of technology leadership, suppliers and implementation with a practical ability to make sense of complex situations and work out what will actually help.
He is particularly strong at turning ambiguity into something organisations can act on, separating what can be planned and delivered from what needs to be explored, tested and learned. Jason works across technology, people and delivery systems, helping teams prototype approaches, challenge assumptions and make better decisions before significant time and money are committed.
